Amber Brooks M.S. LPC-A

Supervised by Amber Chapman LPC-S

Amber received her Bachelors in Education from Lubbock Christian University. She taught Middle School for 5 years. As a teacher the most rewarding part of the job is the relationships built during the school year. As an Educator and Coach, Amber began to notice her students’ and players’ needs far exceed academics and athletics. Helping her students and players through life situations, guided Amber to seek a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lubbock Christian University.

With a background in Education, Amber is capable of helping bridge the gap many youths have with school and life stressors. She is an advocate for mental health education, and is passionate to serve the pre-teen and teen populations.

Amber thinks of herself as encouraging and honest. Influenced by moments of true amusing joy and refined by moments of great sorrow. She has experienced many peaks and valleys in life, and refers to herself as a mighty adventurer. Life is her greatest journey, and thanks to God for the path he’s provided. Amber’s focus as a clinician is to compassionately guide others, whether through building confidence in who they are, or learning healthy ways to cope through the twists and turns of life. There is truly no struggle too small or too big to walk through.

Life is filled with ups and downs…the good, the bad, the ugly. They happen at any time no matter your age. Amber is passionate to partner with those wanting to find the good they are capable of. Your voice matters even in the struggle. I want to come alongside you to find your voice again.
